Founding members wanted: Kalgoorlie-Boulder donated gift card group
What it is: a planned local community group that would collect unused gift cards and vouchers that people choose to donate, check them, and pass them on to people in Kalgoorlie-Boulder who are doing it tough.
Where it's at: it's an idea, not an organisation yet. Nothing has been set up and no help can be promised until it is.
What's needed: a WA incorporated association needs at least 6 members and a committee of 5 (chair, deputy chair, secretary, treasurer and 1 ordinary member). We're looking for people who'd like to be founding members, join the committee, or help now and then.
Good to know:
- There's no cost or fee to join, and nobody is paid.
- Only donated cards are accepted. Lost or found cards always go back to their owner, the store or police lost property.
- Your details are only used to talk to you about the group.
